Well-placed but needs better upkeep

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Central Market and close to public transit. I faced issues with the air conditioning not cooling properly, which made for a pretty uncomfortable night. The bathroom had some mold, and the overall cleanliness could be improved as it felt a bit neglected. Though it had potential, these factors made my stay less enjoyable.

The location was a perfect jumping-off point for our family adventures, especially the stalls at Central Market where we snagged awesome souvenirs! My kids loved the light and water show at the nearby KL River of Life, making our stay even more memorable.

My wife says that the parking situation could really use improvement.

The Deluxe Room was decent, but the shower head was leaking a lot, which was a bit annoying. It was clean and dust-free, which is awesome for my allergies. The view from the window was nice, but I heard some traffic noise. Check-in and check-out were smooth, which I appreciated. For the price, it’s still a good value overall.

The Avenue provided a pleasant stay with its corner room on the 6th floor, ensuring peace thanks to its distance from the lift. The room was nicely furnished with a water heater, tea and coffee sachets, and complimentary chocolates. I appreciated the refilling water dispenser in the lobby, clean bathroom toiletries, and the presence of a small safe, all contributing to a comfortable work trip.

I missed having a refrigerator in the room.

Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Air conditioning struggled in the heat.
